Welcome to Govt. General Degree College, Narayangarh

As a dream project of our Hon’ble Chief Minister, under the aegis of Hon’ble M.I.C, Education department, Secretariat of Higher Education department and Director of Public Instructions, this college started its journey from the 2017-18 academic session in an adjoining building of Bhadrakali Gandhi Vidyapith, Rathipur, Paschim Medunipur. Dr Badal Kumar Jana, being the Co-ordinating officer and later the Officer-in-Charge of this institution accepted the challenge to start the college in only a fortnight’s notice and took all sorts of pain to concretize this dream into reality. He worked day in and out tirelesaly to supervise the whole process of its development so that people of Narayangarh and rest can reap the best fruit of it. In the land donated by the Bhadrakali school committee and some great hearts of the village the institution now stands proudly in its own building equipped with all sorts of modern facilities for the students.

বিদ্যালয়ের আঙিনা ছেড়ে মহাবিদ্যালয়ের বিস্তৃত জগতে প্রবেশের বিশেষ ক্ষণ ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের মনে এক অনন্য অনুভূতির জন্ম দেয়। জীবনের সমরাঙ্গনে প্রথম ধাপ এই নতুন অধ্যায়। পাঠ্যবইয়ের শিক্ষা এখানে পরিপূর্ণতা পায় বহুমুখী জগতের সান্নিধ্যে। স্বাভাবিক ভাবেই জীবন সংগ্রামের এই রকম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সন্ধিক্ষণে প্রয়োজন এমন এক সুন্দর পরিবেশের যেখানে শাসন আর প্রশ্রয়ের অভিভাবকসুলভ ছত্রছায়ায় এই সুকুমারমতি তরুণ প্রাণগুলি যথাযথভাবে প্রস্ফুটিত হতে পারে।
