The RTI (Right to Information) Advisory Cell of GGDC, Narayangarh plays a crucial role in promoting transparency and accountability within the institution. Its responsibilities encompass facilitating access to information by guiding individuals through the application process and aiding in accessing pertinent documents and records. Moreover, the cell ensures the college’s compliance with the Right to Information Act, 2005, by proactively disseminating information and promptly addressing RTI applications. Additionally, it addresses appeals and grievances concerning information disclosure, maintaining fairness and transparency throughout the process. Furthermore, the cell conducts awareness programs and workshops to educate stakeholders about their rights under the RTI Act, thereby fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and citizen empowerment within the college community.
