About Geography

Geography Department started its journey in 2017 with the establishment of the college. It offers B.Sc Honours and General courses under CBCS curriculum proposed by Vidyasagar University, Medinipur. The department has laboratories equipped with all kinds of maps, instruments, glassware and chemicals needed for undergraduate practical classes. The seminar library offers more than two hundred books on various disciplines of geography. The books and instruments are updated constantly. Smart classes will be introduced to Geography Department soon. A computer laboratory will be functional from this academic year. Students of this department have scored more than 6.5 CGP on an average during past university examinations. Department of Geography welcomes students with innovative ideas and encourages inquisitiveness among them.
